Kirstin can typically be reached between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm CST from September through May, and between 8 am and 5 pm EST from June through August. Saturday and Sunday by appointment only.
Kirstin Hotelling Zona, PhD, is a professor, writer, speaker and certified Master Life Coach who specializes in helping women working in the caring professions tap their fullest potential in order to live lives of purposeful meaning, deep connection, and compassionate action. As a Life Coach, Kirstin leads workshops, retreats, and classes, and works intensively with private clients to guide them into self-awareness, bold vision, and the profound rewards of purposeful living. As a Full Professor of modern poetry and environmental literature at Illinois State University, and as Editor of SRPR (Spoon River Poetry Review), Kirstin teaches and mentors young people to read deeply, think rigorously, write playfully, and discuss heartily in service of cultivating an informed, ethical, and creative citizenry. In addition to her professional pursuits, Kirstin loves to run, cook, dance, hike, draw, and spend time with her two children. She lives in Normal, Illinois, and Machiasport, Maine.
